If you are looking for a flamenco show in Palma de Mallorca, the short answer is Tablao Flamenco Alma, at Avinguda de Portugal 5, about five minutes' walk from Plaça d'Espanya. It is the city's only dedicated tablao (flamenco venue): a small room with live dance, song and guitar, three shows a day and an hour of performance. The big dinner-show venue many people remember from earlier trips, Son Amar, no longer opens to the public.

The basic ticket includes a drink and costs from €35 on GetYourGuide. The premium ticket adds tapas. It is not a dinner show: it is flamenco with a drink and a bite to eat, and it is worth knowing that before you choose a time.

Tablao Flamenco Alma: Palma's only tablao

Alma opened in March 2024, founded by a guitarist from Córdoba, and calls itself "the first flamenco tablao in Palma". That is the venue's own claim; what we can confirm is that today there is no other dedicated tablao in the city.

The format is the classic tablao one: a small stage, the audience very close, and a troupe of dancer, singer and guitarist. The artists rotate and come from Andalusia, Madrid and Barcelona, so the line-up changes from week to week. The host speaks Spanish, English and German, so communicating in the room is no problem.

The venue asks you to arrive 15 minutes early, accepts tickets on your phone and recommends dressing smartly. No suit needed, but flip-flops and beachwear look out of place in such a small room.

Flamenco show times in Palma: the three performances

Alma runs three shows a day, each lasting one hour:

Show Best for
17:30 Families with children and cruise passengers boarding in the evening
19:30 Before dinner in the centre
21:30 The most popular: it sells out before the others

If 21:30 is your only option, book ahead, especially in summer and at weekends. The 17:30 show leaves your evening free and is the easiest with children.

The official website says there is a show "every day", with no mention of seasons. Some booking sites, however, only sell dates up to mid-November. If you are travelling in winter, check on the tablao's website that there are shows on your date before planning the evening.

Flamenco tickets and prices in Palma

The tablao's website does not publish fixed prices: bookings go through a system that shows the rate once you choose a date. The booking sites do give a starting price:

Price check The same ticket on several platforms Difference: €5
PlatformProductRatingPriceWhere
GetYourGuide Palma de Mallorca: Live Flamenco Show - Tablao Flamenco Alma 4.6 (1,617) €35 Best price See on GetYourGuide
Tiqets Tablao Flamenco Alma: Show with a Drink 4.3 (46) €40 See on Tiqets

Adult price, checked on 6 October 2026. Platforms change prices daily: confirm before you pay.

Today GetYourGuide is the cheapest option, from €35 with a drink, and has more than 1,600 reviews averaging 4.6. Tiqets starts at €40. The difference comes mainly from the seating zone and what the ticket includes, so compare the same category before deciding.

Which ticket to choose

Tickets are split by what they include and where you sit:

  • Standard: show + one drink (beer, wine, soft drink, cava or sangria).
  • Premium: show + drink + tapas (Ibérico ham, Mahón cheese and Cantabrian anchovies).
  • Show only: some booking sites sell the show without a drink.

By zone, VIP is the front row only; Category 1 is rows 2 and 3; Standard is the rest of the room. As the room is small, the view from the standard zone is good. The front row is worth it if you want to see the footwork up close; for most people, Category 1 is the best balance.

Flamenco with dinner in Palma?

There is a lot of confusion here. The show itself does not include dinner: the ticket comes with a drink, or a drink with tapas. But the tablao also publishes tapas menus paid for separately from the show:

Menu Price per person
Tablao Tapas Menu €25
Alma Tapas Menu €30
Vegetarian menu €26
Cocktails €8

On booking sites you will see products with names like "show + dinner" (Tiqets, from €70) or "with paella" (GetYourGuide, from €72). Read the listing carefully before paying: check what food is included, where it is served and whether it is worth at least what a standard ticket plus one of the menus would cost.

My advice: if you want a proper dinner, book the 17:30 or 19:30 show and eat in the centre afterwards, or eat something before the 21:30 one. Our Palma food and tapas guide has places for before or after the show.

Getting to Tablao Flamenco Alma

The tablao is at Avinguda de Portugal 5, ground floor, about five minutes' walk from Plaça d'Espanya. It is one of the easiest locations in Palma if you are not staying in the centre:

  • From the airport: EMT bus A1 stops at Plaça d'Espanya (€5).
  • From the towns and villages: TIB buses terminate at the Estació Intermodal, under Plaça d'Espanya.
  • From the cruise port: EMT line 1 stops at Plaça d'Espanya.
  • On foot from the old town: head up through the Mercat de l'Olivar (Olivar market) area.

How to plan the evening

  1. Pick your show: 17:30 with children or with a ship waiting, 21:30 if you want the liveliest atmosphere.
  2. Buy the ticket with the drink or tapas you want; on the official website you can cancel free up to 24 hours before.
  3. Get to Plaça d'Espanya with time to spare and walk five minutes to Avinguda de Portugal.
  4. Turn up 15 minutes early with your ticket on your phone.
  5. Afterwards, have dinner in the centre or head back by bus from the Intermodal.

Flamenco with children, as a couple or on a cruise

With children: the 17:30 show is the one designed for families. An hour is a reasonable length for children who can sit still.

As a couple: the 21:30 show with a premium ticket is the classic choice. Combine it with an afternoon session at the Palma hammam and your evening is sorted. More ideas in Palma for couples.

On a cruise: if your ship leaves in the evening, the 17:30 show is the only realistic one. EMT line 1 takes you from the terminal to Plaça d'Espanya; our cruise port guide has the timings.

Accessibility: the tablao is wheelchair accessible, which is unusual for a small venue. More information in accessible Palma.

Other shows: what exists and what does not

Outside Alma, flamenco in Palma is thin on the ground and unreliable:

  • One-off concerts: GetYourGuide sells the occasional flamenco recital at the Auditorium from €20, with no reviews yet. It is a concert on a specific date, not a tablao with daily shows.
  • Bars and restaurants: some advertise flamenco nights, but we have not been able to confirm any with a regular programme. Ask at the venue before you go.
  • Pirates Adventure (Magaluf, Calvià): not flamenco, but a pirate dinner show for families running since 1986, in English, with acrobatics and a roast chicken dinner. From €24.99. Out of season there are only a few nights a week. TIB bus 104 gets you there from Palma.
